Health to Hand - Together, lets make healthcare better

healthtohand newsletter summer 2009

Welcome to our summer edition newsletter! We hope you’re all enjoying having a bit of time off from the daily grind, whether it’s at home or abroad and with or without the kids. It’s been a frightening few months for a lot of people as Swine Flu has got to grips with the UK – have a look at the latest information from the NHS on statistics and advice within our Health News section.

July saw Dementia Awareness week so we’ve decided to lead with an article all about this health area. Early diagnosis makes for a better prognosis so have a good read of the symptoms and pass on your knowledge. If you or a person you know has been diagnosed with a form of dementia, this information should help deepen your understanding.

Also featured is a comprehensive breakdown on Iron deficiency Anaemia, which we’ve linked to our refreshing and tasty ‘Smoothie of the Month’, The Iron Builder.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is an often debilitating anxiety disorder and with more and more of you asking for articles on anxiety issues, we wanted to get you the facts covered.

Body Zone of the Month’ has a detailed look at the back, an often forgotten but extremely important part of the body, with a great breakdown of steps for training on this area.

We’ve been amazed by all of your positive comments on what we’re doing so thanks to you all for giving us this really important feedback. It’s really important to us that we keep on delivering the topics that you are interested in so keep in touch!

Best wishes, the team at Health to Hand
